About Us

I grew up in a family owned construction Corp. operated by my father and five brothers. There was no daycare back then, so I spent many hours out on the construction site as I grew up.

Later in life I collected a diversified assortment of related experience and education:

Physical Security Inspector for the Department of the Army.

Licensed Real Estate Agent in Clarksville Tennessee.

Graduated with a degree in law enforcement and in 1979 became a Special Agent for the USACIDC. One of my areas of responsibility was investigation of construction contract fraud against the federal government.

Completed a degree program I had started at Northeastern University in HVAC Systems Design.

I was recovering from a back injury when I began performing home inspections as a paid favor for a family friend who was a real estate agent. She began selling Real Estate in the Winter and by Spring had to buy several A/C units for her clients when they did not work upon the arrival of summer. Home Inspectors do not operate A/C units when it is less than 60 degrees outdoors.

Through word-of-mouth referrals my home inspection became a full-time business endeavor due to my diversified background and licensing in associated fields of home inspection.

The first house my wife and I purchased was sold two previous times and then to us by the same Realtor, without a septic tank! So I understand first hand the importance of a Home Inspection in your Real Estate purchase!
